Job Listing: Associate Director of External Affairs and Communications
SJI is hiring a Program Director – Assoc. Director of External Affairs & Communications
The Associate Director of External Affairs and Communications initiates, sustains, manages, and oversees the unit's external community relations, website, social media and publicity campaigns. Oversees unit's overall programming involving project development, oversight, and implementation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design and develop all advertising campaigns to increase audience participation and engagement. Prepare organizational publications and reports; develop or edit visual media or graphic elements of publications.
- Plan, organize and oversee the unit’s overall programming and event planning. Conduct ongoing assessment and provide feedback as to the effectiveness of such events.
- Perform other duties assigned by the director to ensure the success of the projects and programming
- Serve as the primary contact for the media.
