About

She is the new Executive Director at United We Dream, the largest immigrant youth-led network in the country with more than 400,000 members. In this role, Greisa is a UWD strategist and also implements UWD’s vision as the organization continues to build power throughout the country. Originally from Hidalgo, Mexico, Greisa immigrated to the U.S. with her family at an early age and grew up in Dallas, TX as an undocumented immigrant. As a result, she began organizing to help young Latinos register to vote in her hometown of Dallas, TX, and has since become a fearless defender of her undocumented community and a staunch advocate for the rights of women. Greisa was a fellow with the League of Young Voters. She co-founded the Council for Minority Student Affairs at Texas A&M University, the first undocumented youth-led group in the University’s 100 year history. She founded the Texas Dream Alliance and was a fellow with the League of Young Voters.
