About
Asha A. Edwards is currently a junior pursuing a degree in Public Health. She's a visual artist and community organizer. Asha engages in abolitionist rooted campaigns and mutual aid as a member of a community-based grassroots organizations in Chicago. She hopes to help establish community gardens as well as free, sustainable, and earth-based housing on the South Side of Chicago as part of the struggle for Black self determination, indigenous sovereignty, and the eradication of global oppression. She engages in non violent direct action campaigns through Assata's Daughters and WeAreDissenters, an anti-war, anti-militarism, and anti-imperialism organization.
